User Data Deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of personal data associated with The Send (getthesend.com), including data obtained when you connect Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms. Meta requires apps to provide a clear user data deletion path.

1. How to request deletion
Email us at [email protected] with subject line Data deletion request – The Send.
Please include:
- The email or name you use with The Send (if any)
- Your Facebook / Instagram / other platform username or Page name, if you connected them
- That you want your The Send account and connected-token data deleted
We will confirm receipt and complete deletion within 30 days (usually sooner). LinkedIn Marketing API data (tokens and cached Marketing fields) is deleted within 10 days after you disconnect, leave, or ask. Post/share/comment IDs and URNs have no duration cap under LinkedIn’s Marketing Data Storage rules. We honor user delete requests.
2. What we delete
- Connected account tokens and page/channel identifiers stored for publishing
- Scheduled and draft posts, captions, and media we store for your workspace
- Brand / workspace settings tied to your account where applicable
- Support emails related to the request (after we finish, except as needed for legal records of the request itself)
3. What we may retain
- Records we must keep for legal, security, fraud, or tax reasons (limited and retained only as long as required)
- Content already published to Facebook, Instagram, or other platforms — you must delete those posts in the platform’s own apps if you want them removed there
- Anonymized logs that cannot reasonably identify you
4. Disconnect without full deletion
You can disconnect Facebook / Instagram / LinkedIn in The Send under Connect accounts, and revoke The Send in Facebook’s Settings → Apps and Websites or in LinkedIn’s authorized apps. Disconnecting LinkedIn deletes stored Marketing tokens for that brand (deadline 10 days). For a full wipe of our stored data, still email a deletion request.
5. Facebook / Meta users
If you only used Facebook Login or Page connection for The Send, the same email process applies. We will delete tokens and associated Send data for that connection. You can also remove the app from your Facebook settings at any time.

When a user removes the app in Facebook settings, Meta can POST to the callback.
